Head Coach
I started my fitness journey with Martial Arts in my teenage years til i was 20. Then, I got into bodybuilding because my mom said I looked too skinny. I did it for a few years until I tried CrossFit. I fell in love with it from the first workout! I competed within my first year and won a scaled CrossFit competition. I had amazing coaches who taught me most of the stuff I know and I’m thankful for that.
After a year of training I decided to get certified and earned CF-L1. The more I trained, the more I realized I wasn’t efficient at Olympic weightlifting, which was my nemesis at any WOD including a barbell, so I dove deep into it and joined a lifting team and competed twice. I really enjoyed the sport, especially because it was so technical. I wanted to add it to my coaching arsenal so I went ahead and got certified to be more fluent when coaching CrossFit.
I’ve taken a break from competing due to injuries from overtraining so my focus now is to coach members to the best of my abilities and motivate them to compete. The best part of coaching to me is to see members improve over the years. It gives me purpose in life and makes me happy.
